1. Synthesis of known chirality single walled carbon nanotubes
2. Synthesis of single layer graphene or graphene nanoribbon using CVD technique and strain-induced band gap engineering using Focused Ion Beam Technique
3. Fabrication of carbon nanotube field emitters and carbon nanotube/metal composites
4. Synthesis of gem quality single crystal diamond, HPHT diamonds.
