Summary /Objective:

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering has well established Analog Electronics laboratory. This laboratory caters experiments based on basic/advanced analog electronics circuits on bread board/kits by using different electronics components like Diodes, Transistor, Resistance, Capacitor, ICs etc. for various under graduate courses. It is basic laboratory for all Engineering Branches.


Facilities

The Analog Electronics laboratory offers hardware facilities like Digital Storage Oscilloscope, Arbitrary Function generator, DC power supply, multi-meters, bread board, and electronics components etc.

Summary/Objective:

This course is the foundation for future study of Digital System – I & II engineering. Fundamental concepts in the study of Digital System Design are introduced along with examples of their application: Introduction to Digital hardware and Hardware Description Language and representation of Digital Systems using VHDL. Digital fundamentals, Logic gates, Flip-Flops, Counters, Shift registers, Adders and Subtracters designing. Simulation and Synthesis of Digital Systems using VHDL and implementation on FPGA.

The course contents of Digital Design I & II lab are divided into two parts. Digital design – I lab is based on Digital fundamentals, basic concepts of digital logic and synchronous/asynchronous circuits. Digital design – II lab is understanding of hardware description language (VHDL) and its representation, e.g. structural, behavioural and data flow representation of the system.
